== Soar == Modeled after the Cliffs of Zephrin, Soar was built with flight in mind. Flying dragonkin make their homes on the many mountain peaks that make up the city. Those without flight may find it impossible to even cross the street. ==== Built for Flight ==== With thermals rising from the ground below, all sorts of dragonkin take to the skies. Many buildings have doors attached to their roofs. Additionally the city spreads out vertically, not horizontally. From the lowest levels to the highest buildings is roughly a difference of four-thousand feet. ==== Unique Intelligence ==== Certain dragonkin like wyverns live within Soar. However, unlike their animalistic cousins on the mainland, wyverns in Soar possess intelligence equivalent to that of a humanoid. They can speak, write, and think like a fully sentient person. Scholars are unsure why and the metallic dragons do not trust academics enough to allow them to run tests on the dragonkin. ==== Floating Pyramid of the Dread Hawk ==== Rising almost three-thousand feet above the ground is the Floating Pyramid of the Dread Hawk. This pyramid appears to be made out of pure copper. The pyramid is two hundred feet tall and is brimming with primordial magic. Scholars have yet to determine how exactly the pyramid levitates. However, the dragonkin pay the pyramid little mind. It is an interesting fixture of the city but seemingly of little use. The metallics have declared it dangerous and so most simply stay away.
