== Alluvium == During the dividing of land after the reformation of the Titanic Ring, the Twin Empresses gave all lands the ability to join the county system or remain independent. As of 777 A.R., Alluvium is the last independent jurisdiction in Ardyria. Even then, the city still pays a tithe to Amalathea every year. The independence has made Alluvium city a favorite of rogues, recluses, Throne Breakers, and more. As of 777 A.R., Alluvium is under the control of Viscount Castor Windsmith. === Alluvium City === While twenty percent of the city is above ground, most of Alluvium city is built into the mountain sides and below the ground. Some believe that the city descends more than two miles but there is no sure way to tell. Building codes are non-existent. Allluvium grows more like an organism than a carefully designed city. The Sigiled Paths Powerful wards protect the entrances into the city. Only by navigating one of four carefully monitored paths can a person enter Alluvium.
