Editing Martial Schools

Martial Arts through the training of their bodies can also begin to harness the primordial energy latent within the Rings of Meropis. These martial arts are naturally inclined to one of seven different schools. Each of these schools allow the martial artist to unlock powers and abilities that enhance their natural bodies. In this new age, new schools have been popping up through strenuous test.

==== Sky School ====
Practitioners of the sky school focus on movement and agility. They fight like a leaf, swaying to the rhythm of their opponent’s strikes. The sky school focuses on dodging and counterattacks.

==== Sea School ====
Those who practice the sea school are like the river. Their attacks are flowing and build on one another. If an opponent cannot interrupt their flow, they face certain doom.

==== Land School ====
The land school is a fortress. Those who engage in it are unbreakable. In turn, a single attack from a land school practitioner is like having a mountain dropped upon you. Land school users are sleeping giants.

==== Flame School ====
The best defense is a great offense for flame school users. They unleash a barrage of searing strikes in exchange for leaving themselves extremely vulnerable. Every battle with a flame school practitioner is the flame school user racing against their own death.

==== Spirit School ====
A person’s natural spiritual energy can be refined and weaponized. Many believe that the spirit school is an offshoot of natural psionic powers. However, the spirit school generally focuses on increasing the practitioner’s own spiritual energy, therefore bolstering their mental strength and physical acumen, while weakening their opponent’s spiritual energy.

==== Shadow School ====
Born from the dark, the shadow school was thought to be created by the first [[Dorcha Arex]]. This school harnesses necrotic powers and the fury of [[Sin]] to create a truly formidable form. A user of the shadow school is thought to be unkillable at night and nigh immortal under a new moon. From the few warriors that have survived a shadow school user, apparently the school focuses on quick movement, the blurring of an opponent’s senses, and attacks that slowly kill the foe over time.

==== Light School ====
The oldest and most powerful school, the light school is only accessible to a select few martial artists. Able to draw from the original source, the light’s maximum capabilities are not known.
