Those souls whose sin drags them downward upon death or who sell their souls to a devil head to Hell upon their death. Hell defies known physics as a person will always walk uphill in the dimension. As they walk, a soul might encounter many different areas controlled by a Sovereign of Hell. Each Sovereign creates their own tortuous nightmare that ensnares the souls of the damned. These Sovereign all serve an entity known as the Archfiend. This entity rules over Hell as its undisputed dictator.
