Bloodline

Bloodlines are an important factor in The Rings. A great deal of magical power is passed through the generations. Consider a great mage who was an Aether soul. Their children will have a greater inclination toward Magic. This connection can either grow or atrophy through generations. If the children of the great mage take up magic themselves, they can grow their magical bloodline to staggering degrees. In contrast, if the children never practice their magic, then the potential within their bloodline will slowly deteriorate. Bloodlines are watched closely, especially if a Bloodline has a known Torvian. But what is a Torvian?
