Star-Bound Alliances
Historian: Caleb. Date: 07/14/2025
TLDR – Alphie almost freezes to death exploring their universe, but alerts Piero to their condition, and in trying to wake them, Astranna burns the shit out of them. Which actually seems to help. Alphie meets Victor, who explains quintessence to them, and asks for their help. Once they wake up, they tell us about this. Jericho and Anja do research, while Gwyn and Astranna, having made up, work together on the upgrades. Alphie finds out the Gibbit doesn’t like honey. Cracklebones launches an attack, and we sic our murder machines on her army. The Cosmic comes by with housewarming gifts, and we form a tentative alliance with him, something that can only lead to good things.

- Caleb gives the recap.
- We begin with Alphie and Inora in a galaxy, stars tumbling past them, all swirling color and light. A beautiful field of sensation. This place is cold, frigid. Though they cannot see their breath, they feel it, and that sinking deep feeling washes over them. Inora is next to them, grabbing onto their arm, as they tumble through this infinite vast galaxy within themself. What are they doing?
- Alphie’s staring at it all, trying to protect Inora from the flying asteroids and debris.
- They tumble through a nebula, new stars being birthed in its wondrous vapors, and as they continue to fall, in the distance, at the edge of a black hole is a swarm of millions of cuttlefish. Farther out, they see what appears to be a giant turtle, moving across. It opens its mouth wide to consume a planet before continuing onward. Their synesthesia ramps to levels once thought impossible. They’re so cold, clinging to Inora’s warmth, ice crystals forming across their arms, hair, every part of their bodies. What are they doing?
- Alphie wants to look for solid ground. They decide to aim for the turtle’s shell.
- They need 7 successes on a phys check to reach the turtle before freezing solid. They get 2 successes. Ice covers them, as parts of their body and system begin to shut down. They ask Inora how to get out of here, but Inora says they’re the one who brought her here. Inora passes out from the cold, slumping against them.
- Alphie wants to try to use dream warrior to project through Gwyn’s creations. 1 success – they have one word, to shout to a random individual with one of the items.
- “Awaken.”
- They feel the ice begin to cover them, and as it does, they clutch onto Inora tightly. They feel it all start to go dark, go black, as color fades from the world.
- At this point, we cut to Jericho, who’s asleep until he hears Piero perk up suddenly. He asks if Piero’s alright. He says yeah – he just had the strangest dream. He was eating some cheese (that was nice) and heard Alphie go “AWAKEN”. He’s sad he was interrupted. Jericho gets out of bed. Piero asks if something’s wrong, and Jericho says “Maybe,” and heads to Alphie’s room.
- He finds Alphie in her bed, asleep. Jericho shakes her – no response. At 6 cold, they’re pretty cold. Jericho yells for everyone to wake the fuck up, and tries opening their eyes. It’s not their normal color. It’s yellow with flecks of blue running through it, and the eye is actively looking around like it’s looking at things.
- Astranna attempts to shock them awake with her fire, planting a hand on their chest. They lose 1hb. They didn’t flinch, but it looks like their hands are beginning to twitch, and the area around them is starting to fill with a bluish color. Inside, we see snippets of sensation and feeling, like we’re just… inside this sphere of experience. Since we don’t know they’re in the galaxy, Jericho tries to use the sand. As he goes to get it, the air around Alphie changes again, and we cut back to them.
- Alphie opens their eyes. They sit upon an asteroid, floating through space. Inora is waking up next to them. There’s a fire on the asteroid, and strangely enough, a strange burn mark on their chest. It kind of hurts, but they’re getting through it. But the thing drawing their attention is the older-looking gentleman on the edge of the asteroid. He has a scar across one eye, a belt and suspenders, and a button-up shirt.
- “Almost got yourself killed there.”
- Alphie asks who he is. He introduces himself as Victor, and asks who they are. Alphie introduces themself and Inora, and he says he knows who Inora is.
- “So you are the holder of our galaxy. It’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance.”
- “How do you know about that?”
- “Well, most with any sort of sense in this galaxy know about you. About this. Especially since it all is getting colder. Much colder. [...] Most of the galaxy is frozen solid. Nothing to do, except wait. Hope.”
- Alphie asks if there’s a way to reverse it.
- “I would hope so. Comes down to you. Your… ability to control this place. The frost comes and goes with you. The cold. I felt your hand pass through star systems before. With a touch, it all goes still. I know of places, planets, one day it was like summer, the next, many hundreds of degrees below zero. All life stilled. I would hope it could be undone. There are many of us within. It is a beautiful galaxy. We would hope it would not die. …Could you help us?”
- “I will try everything I can. The only thing I can think of is warming back up myself, but I will look into it, I will research more… how long has this been happening for you guys?”
- “In this place, hundreds of years, although you do not seem that old. How old are you?”
- Alphie says they lost track of time a bit in their travels, but she thinks she’s 24.
- “Hm. Da. I see. There is the nature of quintessence in this universe, pulls apart heat, keeps all cold. If you could use your quintessence magic, perhaps it would help us. If you could draw heat back to cold, back to worlds, I know it’s a large ask, I don’t know if you’re powerful enough to do it, but I would ask it of you anyway.”
- Alphie says they don’t know how to use their magic, which perplexes him. They ask him to explain quintessence, and he again seems very perplexed, massaging his mustache.
- “It is the magic used to draw the essence of things together, to create effects, draw essences out of people and things, to gain power. It is the heart of this galaxy. It is magic itself.”
- Alphie realizes this galaxy inside of them has gone on its own evolutionary path, and seems to have generated its own unique kind of magic that’s just bubbled up inside it. They ask if he knows anybody who can teach quintessence.
- “Uh, da, it’s how I brought you to this asteroid, and I took in a large source of heat I found floating through the place, used it to warm you two up. I could teach it to you. I would likely say it would be necessary, especially to make this one whole.” [He nods to Inora.]
- “Please, I– what do you mean, whole?”
- “She’s… broken?”
- Inora looks to Alphie, a bit of surprise and concern. Alphie asks how she’s broken, and how he knows Inora.
- “Yes. Inora… All we know is that she was here from the start. The first of us in this place. But as the galaxy has gotten more treacherous, as she ventured further out with you, she… became more broken, hurt. Her essence [he makes a motion with his hands, like something shattering apart]. I can see it now. If I were to use quintessence to try and pull at her, it would be in chunks. Pieces. Not the same.”
- Alphie turns to Inora, holding out her hands.
- “We’ll fix this, it’s okay.”
- “Fix what? It’s okay. I don’t feel broken. I think. Maybe…”
- Inora gets a far-off look in her eyes, like she’s trying to remember something she just can’t grasp.
- “I trust you, though.”
- Victor wants to try and put his quintessence into Alphie. They seem to need it more than him. He says he would wait here. His home is constantly changing, as the frost and ice keep on expanding, but he could retain just a small bit of quintessence, he could retain it with this fire.
- “And perhaps even, you could use a fraction of Inora’s essence to keep this place safe. I could teach you how.”
- He says it would take time, but he’ll do his best. He touches a hand to his chest, and seems to be focusing.
- “May I give you my power?”
- “Yes. Thank you.”
- He nods, and as he touches his chest, there’s a pulsing, violet ball of energy that begins to appear. As he focuses, that ball grows, and then he exhales a breath, and the ball of energy flows outward from him into Alphie. As it enters into their body, it’s a shock to the system, their fingertips abuzz. A wave of nausea grips them, but it doesn’t feel like it’s trying to attack them, just more trying to integrate. They’re going to try to tend the power and absorb the essence.
- Alphie lets out a breath of their own, feeling their body change and alter. They learn the quintessence magic power, as Victor begins to teach them. He also tries to teach them Inora’s pocket world power. Alphie wants to start with Quintessence.
- Quintessence: As an action, they can use their magic, and make a phys/spirit special roll. They gain random letters depending on the number of successes rolled, combined with their power score. They may create effects by creating words with these random letters, pulling different essences together from the galaxy within them.
- Inora’s pocket world: They can spend 10 minutes summoning a small domain, 100x100 ft. It manifests on the floating rock traveling through the galaxy. Other creatures can come in with them as they spring it up around themself. They can summon a dream entity they’ve previously called, but only one can be summoned at a time.
- As they’re continuing to learn this, they feel something at the corners of their consciousness, like someone trying to come into this galaxy. Victor looks to them.
- “It seems someone is trying to come inside. I would not recommend it. They could get lost here. It would be very hard to find them.”
- Alphie asks if he knows who.
- “No. Someone from outside. This is all I know. I have not the powers to check anymore.”
- Alphie asks if they do, and he says perhaps – they could try. They attempt it, and get zero successes.
- “I would suggest that you leave, else risk whatever happens to that individual, or if they are for ill, something within our home.”
- Alphie asks if they leave with the magic, and he gives an affirmative grunt. Jericho’s just finished sprinkling the sand over himself, getting ready to head inside, when Alphie wakes up. They sit up, and Jericho tells them to ignore the burn mark. Alphie says they think that’s what saved them, and correctly guess it was Astranna. They hug Astranna, who hugs her back.
- Alphie reduces their cold down to 0 with their sunfire resin tea, and asks who got the message. Jericho says Piero, and Alphie gives him a kiss on the head, and tells him he’s the world’s greatest rat (he already knew this, since most rats couldn’t take out Gwyn. No offence, Gwyn). Alphie offers to get him some celery.
- Alphie wants to get some more sunfire resin tea, but there’s none in the tower. Anja suggests asking Lonzo, and Alphie dunks on Lonzo, which Anja takes offence to on his behalf. Alphie tries to make sunfire resin with their quintessence magic.
- Letters: A, L, S, Z, F.
- Alphie uses L + A to play a single music note. They connect to someone in their galaxy with a talent for music, and pull their essence out. It’s kind of shaky, but they’re able to make music.
- Astranna asks Gwyn to contact her mom and tell her she’s safe, after Gwyn contacts Bran. She warns Gwyn her mom might yell at her, as her mom can get like that when she’s worried about Astranna, but it’s nothing personal.
- Gwyn agrees, and apologizes for hurting Astranna. Astranna says it’s not her fault, not really, and also apologizes for being icy, as well as admits people getting pulled in might’ve been her fault, too. Gwyn says she just wants to protect her, and Astranna says she has, when she was able to. They hug!
- Everyone gets a complete rest. In the morning, Gwyn and Astranna work on the artificing (2 successes for Astranna). Astranna’s help with the upgrades helps cut down on some of the work and labor.
- Alphie is just sitting and minding their own business, not causing problems. They feed and pet Gibby, and ask if he’s able to make some celery.
- We get the floor plan of the place – the 4th floor is guests, the 5th is the prison, 6th is the scrimshaw holding, the 7th is energy creation, the 8th is (?), the 9th is Morgen’s personal library, the 10th floor is the storage room, and the 11th room is the roof.
- Jericho and Anja go to the personal library, and Alphie does too, so they can hang with their friends. Most of the books came with the building, so there’s lots of religious texts, but there’s also informational books, and some from Morgen’s private collection. Her private collection has material books, treatises on fabrication, pieces of worldly knowledge, and a few sets of encyclopedias.
Jericho’s Research[edit | edit source]
- Jericho looks for a generalist overview of the Velkie religion. Not hard, since we’re in a temple of one of the Velkie gods. The temple of the Farmer, who, when mortal, was named Chunnavak. The Farmer, along with the other Velkie, a few hundred years ago came into a world that was in chaos. The tides of magic were crazed, and people prayed to the Breezewarren Gods but got no answer. The four Velkie gods went on a quest to bring peace to the Skybound Lands – The Builder, The Farmer, The Lamplighter, and The Queen.
- Jericho notices as he goes through these religious texts that each has a more humanoid aspect, and they don’t seem to fit with the other naming conventions (The Builder was Steelhead Baz, The Lamplighter was Zedka, The Queen was Vesilica).
- The Velkie calmed the winds of the Skybound Lands, leading to an era of prosperity. THe Farmer preached the necessity to look to the future, to plant and reap what you sow. Hard work and dedication, but also, acknowledge the beauty of nature and take in all that the Skybound Lands has. The people of the Tillages very much follow the Farmer’s teachings.
- The Queen was the leader of the Velkie on their quest to quell the winds, and after they rose to Godhood, she’s the one who oversaw most of the Skybound Lands. There were a few lands she could never get under control, mostly the land of shadow, but she’s the principle of authority, hierarchy, and the need to take care of the people. She’s still considered the leader of the Velkie. She’s order amongst the swirling winds, a very motherly figure.
- The Lamplighter was the youngest of the Velkie gods, only 14 years of age when the journey started, and 26 when they reached ascension. They represent the need for light, and everything that light can help provide. Community, the ability to see the path ahead, clarity, and finding order in the darkness and chaos in the clouds that had settled over the Tillages and the Skybound Lands. She’s a god that many travelers pray to, and responsible for the Lamplighter Temples.
- The Builder, Steelhead Baz, doesn’t have many sermons, priests, or followers. Everyone is supposed to be like him. He put his head down and built, maintaining the weapons of the Velkie gods, but also maintaining the temples and the lands when they were immortal like now. An individual of few words, a stoic figure in the history of the Skybound Lands, prayed to almost every day by artisans and builders in the Tillages. He’s thought to have built for himself a set of armor that made him literally untouchable, though it was scattered and lost during the Ascension.
- The Velkie supposedly reside in the sky, the clouds, looking down on the mortals. When you die, it seems like the inhabitants believe you return to the wind, becoming one with nature again. If you’re particularly evil, you’re recycled and fall to the ground as rain. Your spirit is seeded into the ground, where eventually you find another host body and begin life anew.
- Their origins are a mystery. They might’ve been angels of the Breezeborn gods, but it seems like that’s more of an initial draft, as many Velkie worshippers today don’t believe in the Breezeborn gods. They believe the world was created by chance, and the winds of magic brought together souls, life, and people, but the Velkie are the ones that now tend to the lands.
- Some say the Velkie were born in the Tillages, and that’s why the Tillagers worship them so fervently. Others believe they were born in the Capital, in the kingdom, and were learned people. Seeing suffering in the kingdoms, they decided to go out and help all those in the Skybound Lands.
- In one story Jericho finds, in an old book hidden off to the side and brought to him by Piero, the Velkie appeared from below, falling upward. As they fell up, they hit water, and were about to drown when a mysterious woman helped pull them up. There were dark forces, the forces that threatened to bring the Skybound Lands down with endless depths, but the Velkie fought up, and breached the surface of a beautiful lake. They received a beautiful boon from the woman in the lake, given to the Queen.
- The story branches off from there. Each of the Velkie found a boon amongst the Forest over Yonder. The Lamplighter found a torch that would always be lit if you asked for it to light, the Builder found a hammer that could bend any metal to his will, and the Farmer found a waterskin that could make you cool, calm, and collected when you drank from it. With these four mythical items, and the help of the woman of the lake, they went off to help the Skybound Lands. This seems to have happened somewhere between 6–800 years ago.
- Generally, it seems like in terms of worshippers, the religious hierarchy is the Breezeborn → the Velkie → Gunther (very far behind).
Anja’s Research[edit | edit source]
- Anja looks into the Velgersi. She finds stories of different individuals in small towns, with grand followings and mystical powers, ranging through the history of Meropis. They all led to ruin, and many are tales of suspected Velgersi.
- One was a seamstress who supposedly wove the finest clothes of anybody in the kingdom, and so was given more and more power. There came a day where a beloved king in the Unclaimed Lands wanted this individual to make them their royal garb for their wedding, and so the seamstress dutifully, with happiness in their heart, went ahead and wove together the finest wedding suit the king could’ve imagined.
- And that’s when the Volgersi attacked using them. The king went mad upon putting on the suit, killing the bride-to-be and ordering the soldiers to start slaughtering everyone. IN three days, they were stopped, and everyone blamed the seamstress, who was hung.
- Looking into the Volgersi, it’s a spirit of low magic, sitting and hunting in one particular area or place. It chooses its victim carefully – they don’t like to have more than 5-10 people at any given time. They focus a lot of their attention on them, giving the individual power and feeding off of them, whatever they have. The spirit itself is invisible, intangible, not really ever seen. It’s a feeling in the woods, the shiver on a warm summer’s day, the thing you feel in the darkness watching but that you never really see.
- Looking into consistent traits they target, it seems like they target individuals with potential, personalities that lead to emotional attachments and bonds. Powers of creation and giving, things of that nature, and sometimes curses (or those who have been bitten by a Volgersi can manifest bad luck).
- Anja finds paper and a writing utensil. She writes a jumbled journal entry, intending to refine it later when she has an empty book to work with. She writes down everything she knows about the Velgersi, a journal entry about how she just found this out. She’ll put more information in about herself to fill in the gaps, but she’s determined to not be one of these stories.
- Alphie tries to get sunfire resin from Gibby. They take a trip to the kitchen, and she gives him a grilled cheese. She tries to explain sunfire resin to him.
- “It’s this sort of gold-colored, waxy, crystal-looking… thing… that helps me stay warm.”
- The Gibbit eats the grilled cheese, bouncing up and down a bit. They get ready, and open their mouth, and a stream of honey is fired at Alphie.
- ““Oh, thank you. I appreciate that. Um. Do you… do you want to try some?”
- They offer him some, telling him it tastes good with a peanut butter sandwich. He licks the honey, goes “Meh!” and immediately scratches at the tongue and flies away.
- Jericho gets 4 hero points, and Anja and Alphie get 2 each.
- Gwyn and Astranna finish their upgrades! Everything we’ve been working on for the party is now complete. Astranna equips her new armor, and Alphie’s amulet is upgraded by 2. Jericho can now reload with an action or by using his bg action and movement, or by using a hotshot action (bg action, he rolls 1d6. On a 3+, it reloads, lower than that and the Naxos jams, and he has to spend an hour clearing it).
- As we distribute everything with the dumbwaiter system, Gwyn looks around and sees that the proximity detectors are going off on the temple. Because we turned off all the defenses, it’s now only the basic detectors left, and she discovers a large group of cursed individuals moving towards our position, maybe about 100 of them. She activates the scrimshaw bipeds, and sends Astranna to warn everyone. Anja convinces Maple into her new carrier.
- “I knew that you were the best owner. You have finally done a good job. I knew you had it in you.”
- Jericho extends a telescope, and sees a large group of cursed beasts. They’re in multiple groups, coming from multiple angles – they’re covering all directions. There seems to be no visible hierarchy, it’s just a mass horde.
- Anja quickly makes a potion (2 cool rocks, a Gibarette, some honey, a button from Gwyn). On a 3 (D10), this potion is crazy. Random lightning bursts out of the cauldron, with smells that range from fresh-cut grass to burnt sugar. As she looks in, the color is a lightshow. As she stops stirring, there’s a tiny little vial at the bottom of the cauldron.
- Potion of Fuck You – When you drink it, for 1 minute, when you take damage, you double it and give it to the next person. No way of knowing how “the next person” is determined.
- One of the cursed individuals shoots a laser at the wall. Swirling green energy wafts off, but it doesn’t seem to do much damage. Jericho looks for turrets, but a lot of the defensive measures were supposed to be handled by the Gibbit, as it could create weaponry where needed and fend off attacks.
- Gwyn sends some of the bimbos on the offensive, watching their operations from the cameras to see if she needs to send more. Jericho makes sure all of his guns are loaded, and casts Augury: “What is our best strategy to defeat this force?”
- He sees a vision of us all sitting around in the lab, drinking tea. Morgen’s at the table too!
- Jericho relays this to us and gets a china set. Gwyn checks on the bimbos’ progress. There’s fucking carnage on the feed. She sent about 60 of them, and they’re cutting through the entire army. One runs up to a massive creature, pulls off its arm, and shanks it with its own arm before blending its head apart. They leap and jump over each other at inhuman speed. The cursed creatures are on retreat. Blood coats the outside of the temple.
- Gwyn’s sitting and watching the cameras, her hand over her mouth.
- “Hey! Hello there! I, uh, sorry, I hope this isn’t a bad time. I saw the carnage outside here. Um, impressive. I brought housewarming gifts!”
- She sees an entity with moving constellations over their flesh, black eyes with a single pinprick of light at the center. They raise a burlap sack.
- “I promise, I got some candles in here, I got jerky [he pulls out a container with meat in it, he shakes it around]. I know Morgen liked telescopes. I don’t know if you like telescopes. Here just to talk.”
- Jericho hits the intercom.
- “Uh, yeah, we’re dealing with a witch’s assault here, can you wait a second.”
- “Oh, yeah, sure.”
- The figure leans against a wall. Jericho uses inquisitor on his statement that he just wants to talk… half-truth.
- Alphie uses learn emotional state on him. He’s calm, like he’s just walking through the park. No amount of distress to this dude. He’s completely chill.
- Alphie uses the risk assessment device on letting him in and talking (+1hp for using it). Letting him in is a medium risk. On a scale of 1-100, 42. We evaluate the risk of not letting him in to talk to us. On a scale of 1-10, 42. We decide to let him in.
- Jericho buzzes him in, shutting the door behind him, and watches the guy follow the arrows. We get the table set up with tea again, and seat Morgen. The door to the lab opens, and as the individual walks in, Jericho, Astranna, and Alphie feel a tremendous amount of psychic power and energy radiating off of them.
- “Ah! So you’re the Tattercoat Knights. How do you do?”
- Jericho offers him coffee. He asks for two sugars. He sits at the table, and produces 5 scented candles (evergreen, vanilla, cherry). He also takes out jerky and a (very nice) telescope.
- “I didn’t really know what you guys were into, so I just tried to scattershot for a housewarming gift.”
- He asks how we’re liking the place. He knew it got taken over, but he’s actually surprised Morgen’s still alive. We explain the lobotomy. He says it’s so daring, he almost has to respect it. Almost – a part of him thinks her mind was a bit of a waste.
- “But you have to do what you have to do, judging by the fact that you here, what, you call yourself Gwyn, yes? Were likely going to be… deleted? I can see where the desperation comes from, and I can understand the actions.”
- He asks if it’d be possible for him to get that machine over there. Anja asks what it does, and he says that at a more base level, it changes reality. We’ll see if Morgen has made any adjustments.
- “Oh, I’m the Cosmic, by the way. My apologies. I read the stars. I know all of you. But I sometimes forget you all do not know me. [...] This reality is very changeable, I mean, look around, it’s a two-bit world I have to say, very poorly created, nothing makes a whole lot of sense, but that means it’s malleable. Pliable.”
- Jericho asks if we’re in the stack somewhere and he says no, no, no, no, we’re outside of it. We’re on a periphery, a bubble. Inside this bubble, there’s lots of possibility. We ask what changes he wants to make.
- “Um, well, I suppose, at its core, I want to… I want to refocus this place, so it can be a world I’d really like to live in. I have a friend who died, and I want them… Well, they just didn’t just die, they moreso ceased to ever exist, and I would like them to exist again.”
- He’d like to move into the tower, but he doesn’t know if that’d be imposing. Alphie asks who his friend was.
- “No one that you would know. They’re not a god, they are not famous, they were… to be honest, mostly just sludge on a boot in the grand scheme of things. But I need their knowledge, their know-how. And I need to talk to them. And I suppose more importantly, the people that I answer to want them.”
- We ask who that might be.
- “That I am… look, I could tell you. But there would need to be more trust kind of floating about. You know? [...] I don’t have any designs on Gwyn’s body or this Gellid Engine you have, or a Velgersi, or anything of the like. Your situation and my situation are… I like to think we are perpendicular to each other. We meet at this point, but I am not trying to be malicious. I don’t think you are trying to be malicious. You are trying to be heroes, I’m trying to do my job.”
- He says it’s his intention that this is the only dealing we have to make, unless we want something different.
- “To be quite honest, Cracklebones is posing a bit of a problem as well, and that’s something that needs to be taken care of.”
- He says she’s been creating many, many totems in the Elder Swamp, enough to eventually threaten the entirety of the Skybound Lands with its power. He doesn’t think it’ll affect either of us to a great degree, but they have been unleashing an eater of stars quite often. He asks if we’ve seen the map, and shows the recent map to us.
- He tells us he needs the machine powered.
- “My guess is you do not wish to give up your pet for the powering of the device.”
- He’d love to have the totems that have been constructed. Using that to power the device would be a win-win. Again. We ask how many totems he needs, and he says as many as we can find… at least 20 would be suitable. They’re about 1.5-2ft in size (he makes a motion when we ask).
- Jericho asks for a moment to confer. We discuss, and assess the risk of forming an alliance with the Cosmic. On a scale of 1-100, the readings are between 20-60 – it’s having a hard time figuring it out with the info it has access to.
- We agree to form a tentative alliance with him, and then have a brief panic about him leaving the table, but he just moved to the door, and was chilling. Not touching anything. He’d raise his hands when we looked over at him. He explains staying at the table would have made us think he was eavesdropping. He knows everything, though, because our conversation was all written in the stars. He refers to our “tentative alliance”.
- Jericho asks him to teach him about reading the stars, and he agrees. Alphie says they have a question, and he says that’s a bit more delicate. It involves the lake. As he says this, a pang of mourning and grief hits them.
- “Yeah, it’s like that.”
- He does agree to help them, though.
- “A quick bout of the reading of the stars, as it is about midnight and the moon is full, and then a trip to the swamp. How fun, Tattercoat Knights.”
- Everyone levels up. Caleb asks about the behavior of the animals, and discovers Henrietta wasn’t there. Yay.
Between Sessions[edit | edit source]
The Stars have alerted the Cosmic that Cracklebones will soon be launching an even greater attack. She must be crippled else she threatens all life in the Sky-Bound lands. Tonight he will recommend:
- Deploying the Scrimbimbolos ahead of you to clear the way in the swamp,
- Planting a reality bomb to destroy Cracklebones' cursed energy in the swamp,
- While you are away, he will clear the area outside of the Farmer's Temple of the 6 remaining armies that remain
